Rostec de México.

In April 2009, Rostec was awarded through an international bid a 20 year investment and services contract to rebuild and provide maintenance to 10 highway sections in the Mexican state of Durango. In order to procure financing at competitive levels and be able to complete the project schedule in time, Rostec entered into a strategic partnership with Cemex Concretos. The 327 kilometers road reconstruction, included earthworks, soil stabilization with cement, and the construction and layout of a hydraulic concrete rolling surface; began in June 2009 and was completed in September 2010 one month ahead of program.

On December 17, 2010, Rostec de México and Cemex, placed the Durango PIPS project with the Fondo de Infreaestructura Macquarie Mexico, an infrastructure fund managed by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, the leading infrastructure fund worldwide. The placement was the last chapter of a project that surpassed technical goals that were considered unreachable.

The Fondo de Infraestructura Macquarie Mexico, was the first fund in which the Fonadin (Fondo Nacional de Infraestructura, a fund managed by Banobras) invested and also the first fund to receive CKDes (Capital Development Certificates) issued by the Afores (Mexico´s Pension Funds). The Durango PIPS project was the first project acquired by Macquarie´s infrastructure funds in Latin America.
